Their wedding day was perfect. The Oquirrh Mountain Temple was glowing and looked beautiful in the fresh, light snow falling to the ground. It wasn’t cold like it was during their bridal session and I think we were all grateful for that. I arrived early to get some portrait shots of Rashelle and her parents before the ceremony started! She looked gorgeous, and just simply SO beautiful. I can’t believe their wedding day is finally here!
They had so many people there to show their love and support for the new bride and groom. I can’t imagine a better wedding day than that. When Rashelle and Jeff made their exit, I’ve never seen bigger smiles than theirs. They were so happy and cheering and kissing and just so excited that they were finally husband and wife! I can only imagine how amazing their sealing ceremony was. We quickly moved to the side of the temple because the wind was blowing and making us freeze! We took family shots but saved some for the reception when more family and friends would be there! We did a quick session around to the front of the temple of the newlyweds and got out of their just in time for lunch!
Their reception party was a blast! They had their reception at Aspen Landing and I personally love that place. My sister and some of my cousins had their reception there and it’s easily one of my favorites. They had a great turnout and it was so wonderful seeing so many people come together for the two of them. They mingled and then began with the cake cutting, parent dances and then their first dance as husband and wife. After that, they turned the music up loud and everyone danced the night away! I may or may not have gotten a move or two in during the party. It was so much fun and I’m a little sad that it’s all over. You get to know your sweet bride and groom’s so well during the journey to their wedding day and then it’s all over. I wish I could just house all of my clients in one place and just be besties forever!!
Rashelle and Jeff, I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love. Congratulations!
