Rashelle and Jeff’s bridal session is probably a favorite thus far in my photography career. It was just the two of them, and I was just snapping away, freezing their love in time. We started out at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple bright and early in the morning with it being a VERY CHILLY 24 degrees. It was a clear sky and the sun soon came out but that wind basically killed us all.
Their first look was sweet and beautiful. Jeff is such a softy and you could just feel the strong feelings he has for his beautiful bride, Rashelle. Being a part of intimate moments like that seriously make me so grateful that I get to serve couples in that way. After the temple, we headed on down to the indoor warmth we call the Utah State Capitol. We weren’t the only ones there that day, taking photos, but we sure did snag a staircase with the most PERFECT natural light seeping through the windows above us.
As we all warmed up, we taught Jeff how to “fluff” a dress and he became a pro on his first try! Snapping pics of his bride on my phone and showing off his bow tie to my camera (tied by the very Jeff himself) we ended the morning with smiles!! :) I have loved shooting Rashelle and Jeff and I cannot wait for their wedding because PARTAY!
